Brand
Hong Kong Museum of Art
My responsibility is to provide innovative solutions to restructure and visualize content, making it more engaging and meaningful. I build creative experiences by organizing story structures and producing digital assets such as UI, graphics, motion, and 3D.
CREATIVE INNVOATION SOLUTION
This is the interactive touch wall with projection for museum visitors to understand painting authentication.
Touchpoints for different stories that encourage visitors to touch and experience in 3D and motion graphic design.
Role
Story Flow - Based on the information provided by the client, I redesigned a story presented as a scroll, with each twist highlighting different key points. The story unfolds gradually from a profound beginning to the final mark, revealing new information and plot developments in each segment.
Art Direction - I integrated detective elements into interactive cues, designing elements such as magnifying glasses, spotlights, and memos to enhance the detective story feel. These designs not only respond to different clues within the artwork but also provide users with new ways to interact with the story.
3D & Motion - I designed and produced the entire interactive animation, including 3D animations such as opening, rotating, and zooming artworks, flying text effects, as well as opening and zooming effects for books.
MOTION GRAPHIC
I was responsible for the animation design of the entire project. The initial magnifying glass effect, the scrolling painting, the floating text, and the book opening and page-turning effects were all created in Cinema 4D and After Effect.
For the clue design, I used translucent Memo paper and added a little wind effect. Each animation was specially made according to the content. For example, fighting with one of the clues is recorded in a book, so it needs to have a page-turning effect.
I have also been responsible for some simple UI motions in the past, but this time I was responsible for the animation design of the entire project, which gave me a lot of valuable experience.
