Hong Kong Museum of Art

Collaborated with an illustration artist (character design), worked with the motion team (character animation), and the development team to create a website for both PC and mobile.

I handled Creative Development, Web Flow, Art Direction, Interaction experience, UI and 3D asset production.

USER EXPERIENCE

There are 12 questions designed to identify people's personalities. To ensure a smooth and engaging user experience throughout the process, we focused on creating consistent animations during the initial stages of prototyping.

This approach aimed to minimize jumping between popup windows to reduce user distraction.

CHALLENGE

The Team have created a smooth animation to engage visitors at the beginning. The next challenge is ensuring that users complete the entire quiz.

To address this, we animated props from the character and I designed each frame related to the art piece. The goal is to establish different themes and interests to keep users engaged and exploring.

RESULT

We created a 3D scene to highlight the illustration in the center, along with the result analysis. A QR code is provided for users to share their results on social media. Users can click on the character to trigger the related art piece they belong to.

The campaign has recorded more than 50,000 visits in 3 months.
